Simone Biles’ Gold-Winning Floor Routine At 2023 World Championships

Simone Biles wins again. Biles, 26, and team USA—Shilese Jones, Leanne Wong, Skye Blakely, and Joscelyn Roberson—won the 2023 World Gymnastics Championships final in Antwerp, Belgium.

Biles' floor performance in the final rotation enabled the team beat Brazil by over two points with 167.729.

Biles landed one of the world's hardest vaults on the world stage for the first time.

Weeks after landing the Yurchenko double pike vault at the U.S. national championships, she did it Sunday.

Like save and share

In sticking the landing, the vault, which involves a round-off entry, back handspring into the apparatus, and two flips, is now called the "Biles II."

NBC Sports rates it 6.4 at the world championships. The outlet reported that the hardest vault last year was 5.6.

I just did Classics and Championships and I'm out here competing again when I never thought I would, especially at the same level and with the same confidence
